Birdfeeder Traffic
This hummingbird has taken possession of the feeder and chases all others away.
We were never very successful attracting hummingbirds to the feeders we had at the VA house. However we did have a lot of goldfinches, cardinals, bluejays and house finches.

...ah, you have a hummingbird, I should get mine out.
Hummers are feisty little things from my observations. There used to be a feeder at the cottage, but no hummer wanted any other bird there.
Wonderful colorful hungry birds all!
You got so many birds there!
You have a lovely collection of pretty birds there.
Beautiful, colourful little creatures. I really wish we had Hummingbirds over here.
Goldfinches are a permanent feature in our yard, but we haven't had a hummingbird visit so far this year.
We never got many goldfinches in our Chicago neighborhood and never hummingbirds. They are so tiny, but I didn't know they were also territorial.
