A Fox Visitor

We have had a fox visit us this last week. The unusual thing is that it comes around during the day. I always thought of a fox as nocturnal. It has become very comfortable coming right up on the deck, eating dead stink bugs. Yesterday I took these photos of our regular visitor.

Notice his bushy tail? It's almost as long as the rest of his body.

Frost Forecast

The threat of frost tonight took me out to the vegetable garden to harvest what will not survive a frost. I didn't pull the pepper plants, but did collect everything that was of an edible size. I was pleased to find some snow peas to gather as well for dinner tonight.

Return from China

I've been gone for the last two weeks visiting my daughter in China. I'm busy getting photos ready to share on my Shutterfly account but here are a few teasers.
