Tuesday Dan and I took a day away from the usual daily stuff. Can't call it the daily grind because retirement is far from that.
We went east across the Chesapeake Bay to Wye Island, a natural resource management area, to see three things.

An oak-hickory forest that's been standing since the American Revolution

A tunnel of Osage trees.
It was a very nice day trip!
