SNOW - a Four Letter Word!!!

This is the scene mid-week last week.  With the cold snowy weather the deer are starving and to fill their bellies they are eating all the leaves off the English laurel bushes.

Saturday we had more snow - 9 inches or more.

It came from the south so piled up on the screens on the south side.

Son-in-law William, drove here from his apartment to spend the weekend with us while Sarah was out of town.  It took him 4 hours for what is normally a 50 minute trip.  1 hour of that was walking from where he had to park his car off the road.  When William hadn't shown up when we expected him, Dan walked out to meet him.  He ended up walking 3 miles to meet up with William and then walking back in the storm.  It was a messy storm that caught everyone by surprise because the forecast was wrong as to the start time and the amount we were to get.

Sunday morning they both were out to clear the driveway.
