You Know it’s Spring When

Crocus are blooming,

When flower beds are in expanded and waiting for new perennials,

When there is the smell of freshly spread mulch,

When buds are forming,

When the grand dog comes to visit and the front door left open,

And when the deck furniture and grill are out of the barn.

60 degrees on this Monday after a snowy Saturday. Our new lawn guy had the mulch delivered on Friday and got it spread on Sunday.
Today I tackled the garden room in the barn trying to corral the fiberglass insulation the squirrel has pulled out of the walls upstairs from there in the ping pong room. There’s more work to be done to have it better organized for this growing season.
