Lilies and Day Lilies
These lovely blossoms were here waiting for me when I arrived home on Wednesday.
Now to tackle the weeds that also grew while I was away.
What a glorious display to welcome you home! Isn't it amazing how plants just keep doing their thing, with or without us. I hope you have had some rest.
Welcome home, Marcia, from what must have been a(nother) wonderful adventure and what a colorful greeting from your garden. Looking forward to reading more of your trip, after you have settled in at home.
How nice to be welcomed back by such Lovley Lilies! Without human maintenance, plants thrive including the ones you don’t want them to. I enjoyed seeing Postcard from Switzerland.

Lovely lilies! Ours are almost over for the year.
We just have daylilies' did have Asiatic lilies once upon a time, but those red beetles likes them too much.

What amazing lilies, such colours, they are so beautiful.
I am starting to think that gardening is basically weeding with a little time left over to enjoy the flowers!
