Look what came on Tuesday at dinner time?
Our first of three cords of wood for the woodstove.
Dan is out there stacking it in the barn as I write this morning.
I'll have to help some by picking up the broken bits for kindling, but first I'm headed on a walk with the Wednesday group. Since I can't drive yet a friend is picking me up at 9:10.

It is good to get ready for next winter although we are burning wood tonight pretty chilly night.
