The View from Here
We had thunder snow late yesterday afternoon but even after that it kept snowing.
Here is what it looks like this morning with temperatures at 25º.
It is beautiful but not what I'd expect to be raving about on April 22nd.
My daughter in Illinois sent me a video of snow fluttering outside their house too. I think you had more than she did though. This is definitely late snow.

I've only seen thunder snow once and found it magical.
This proves that Mother Nature does indeed have a sense of humor. Thankfully, instead of snow, we had torrential downpours Wed afternoon.
