First Vaccine Hurdle

Hew Hampshire opened registration for those 65 and older today to register for the Covid vaccination.  The site opened at 8 AM and with a few initial glitches we got through to register.

PROGRESS!

...it's still a mess here.

The vaccine programme seems to be going fairly well here with some minor glitches. All sorts of places are being used as vaccination hubs - cathedrals, mosques, race courses, cinemas as well as hospitals and other conventional places. Even our little rural practice is starting vaccinating today but so far my group (people age 65-69) have not been called. I don't think it will be long. Glad you are getting yours!

I live in a Senior Residence and we have a clinic set up for next Thursday ... the 28th ... and the County Health Dept. will be giving the shots in here!
Sadly, a number of folks in here have not signed up for the shot and some have said, "No, not getting it!" ... some may be getting their shots elsewhere ... but it's the "No! Never!" ones that will make it so we will have to continue wearing masks in here! I think we'll still be wearing masks for a long, long time!!

I have heard my group of 65-70 will be called in a couple of weeks. So fingers crossed.

Glad you also got through, Marcia. We did as well and so did 2 other couples we know here. Now, we are waiting for the follow-up email instructions, hopefully soon.

Lucky, lucky you! 65 and older don't get it until spring so I will have to wait. Sigh...
