Mounds

No not the candy bar, Mounds, but snow mounds and more forming.

Snow filters through the screen piling up.

Pretty soon you won't be able to tell where the swing begins the snow level is coming up to meet it.

Objects are slowly buried and take on new shapes - mounds.

We have over a foot at 9:00 AM and more coming.

I loved seeing your photos of the snow mounds. Here in Va. we got snow but only about 4 inches. I particularly loved the way the snow piled up on the screen frames in the first picture. Stay in, stay warm, stay safe.

HI Marcia Well that IS a lot of snow but it makes for lovely shots. I do hope you through some food out for the birds in these very cold conditions. Hope you like the ' whale' video today for St Valentin'es Day

That's a lot of snow! So very pretty, but since I'm not used to anything like that, it looks a bit scary, too. I wouldn't know how to drive or even walk around in that! The commenter above said it best: stay in, stay warm, stay safe!

This looks familiar to my view! We got another foot of heavy, blowing snow overnight. School was canceled again today, more due to the icy drifted roads. I love your rain barrel!
Thanks for the book suggestions - I haven't read any of those you mentioned.
I'm currently starting the 5th in the Maisie Dobbs series.. A friend borrowed them to me, and I like them for their history more than the mystery.
Hope you're enjoying grand baby time!!
