Harvest Monday

First handful of blueberries ever from these bushes. They seem very late producing. We ate them with cantaloupe. Also have been getting cucumbers and basil.

Cucumbers, basil, onions from my garden, tomato from the farm stand with a dash of olive oil and white balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper.

My beets are striped in the inside. Here they are cut open in preparation for juicing.

Beet, peach, and apple juice. Yum!

Check out other harvests.

Your cucumber salad looks great. Mine keep blooming but no cucumbers are sizing up.

I love cucumber and tomato salads. We have a while before they will be on the menu though. Everything looks yummy!

The cucumber salad looks great! My wife would love it because she likes tomatoes in with her cukes and onions.

I don't think I've ever had beet juice before. It sounds yummy mixed with the fruit juices.

Oh, I just love the looks of that salad! I might be making that for dinner tonight. My cucumbers aren't producing yet, but I know this really nice gardener down the road that has a little stand..... Your beet juice is very pretty. I've never had that, it looks good!

That looks like a perfect mid-summer salad. I just sowed some beets in one of my square foot gardening beds. I would love to try beet juice, but I don't have a juicer!
