Spring Snow Storm

We are being dumped on - all the snow that didn't fall through our winter!

Here is the picnic table at 8:30 am.

Close up at 11:00 am.

Birds are busy.  These peony supports are 18" I think.  Look at them now.

Juniper and propane tank.

Dan out shoveling to get a start.

Even the juncoes which usually feed on the ground are struggling to get to the birdfeeders.  I'm glad I filled them yesterday in anticipation of this storm despite warnings about bears.

I think we've surpassed the amount of snow predicted for today and it's only 11 o'clock!

Oh boy...winter returns. Isn't it amazing to see familiar shapes so differently clothed in snow? Keep warm y'all!

...you received more that we did. I'm enjoying a White Christmas a few months late! Take care and stay warm and well.

My daughter sent me a video yesterday of snow falling in the Chicagoland area. It looks like you got a whole lot more! Wow!

We received snow too, but nowhere near as much as you. It’s perhaps the last dump of the season, though.

We've had a few light falls recently, but although it's cold, the sun is getting bright enough that it hasn't stayed. We had a centimeter or two yesterday morning, but it was gone by evening.
