I have a problem of being a bit of a down-looker. Probably bc I am lost in some internal day dream no matter where I am. 🤪
Not quite to my taste but no one can deny that it's a magnificent piece of architecture.

It is a beautiful building. It's a long time since I visited.

Why is there that plaque for Washington Irving. It looks like a burial place, but he was buried in NY. Is this a different Washington Irving?
