Look again at my header photo. That field back there is where the fireworks are set off each year.
I tried to get some photos on my phone. Most of them were deleted because my timing was way off. Here's what I did capture during the 30+ minutes show.

I don't think anyone has a very high success rate when photographing fireworks - certainly not me! The videos work really well.
