Does This Happen to You?

I use Shutterfly to create yearly albums and make prints of photos I want enlarged.  Periodically they will send me photos from the past reminding me of a time gone by.

These photos came recently from 2011. The Philadelphia Flower Show!  I took my mother there from Maryland on a bus trip sponsored by Dan's employer.  My mother was 92! We did a lot of walking but she was quite a trooper.

Don't ask me what the other three photos are.   Must be some exhibits at the show.

Mom died 2 1/2 years later.

How nice to be reminded of that good time with your mother. And it certainly is funny to see some of the photos we captured much later and scratch one's head as to why.

I use Shutterfly for books too. Most of my memories come from Facebook though. It's one of the few features I like about it.

What lovely memories photos can evoke.

I have never used Shutterfly, Marcia, so never received photos from the past. It's nice that the one you received reminded you of a wonderful outing with your late mother. You both look very happy in the photo.

Nice to be reminded of a happy day. I don't use Shutterfly but I often glance back through my old blogposts and photo albums and find things which had all but slipped my memory.
