Color Change Coming

The small trees in the wetlands are changing colors already.

Isn't it time for this monarch to be flying south to Mexico?

There are not too many color changes in my area, yet, but with all the rains this summer, the colors are sure to be wonderful this fall…when they change more🍁

...enjoy the monarchs for as long as you can.

I imagine that the colour will begin to accelerate now. I hope it is a good autumn for colour. Last year was short and early IIRC. I wonder how the gypsy moth infestation will affect the colour.

I will drive up on the Blue Ridge Parkway by the end of the first week in October, which usually is too early. But I'm not sure this year...thanks to climate change. Looking for color change mainly, but beginning to see through foliage to the distance (though the park service often just removes trees that impinge upon views at the Overlooks.)

I wonder what the fall color prediction is this year. I hope you have had the right conditions go make it spectacular. It looks like it’s starting off well from those pretty red trees.

Nice capture of the monarch!

Trees are just beginning to change here. Seeing the migration of the Monarch in Mexico was one of the best trips I ever did.

No real spectacular colours here just yet, but I'll be keeping my eye open for them. I'm eternally jealous of your Monarchs; the only Monarch we have is a little old lady with a couple of Corgis!

I do miss seeing the colors of fall. Spring and fall were always my favorite times of year.
