Chaenomeles japonica / Flowering Quince is one of my favourite spring flowering shrubs. I love seeing the small pink (sometimes white) flowers on almost bare branches. Thanks for sharing

These are beautiful. I'd imagine with all that lilac, there's a great scent walking by it...as well as a great cloud of bees (I hope.

Lilacs in any color, purple or white, are one of the lovliest smelling blooms of spring. Are these in and around your home, Marcia?
