Beautiful post...those Sedum look so amazingly vibrant!

Yes they do, Scott. I realized my photo didn't do them justice until I played with the color saturation.

The sedum rock! I stare at mine all day begging them to never stop blooming. Great pix!

Oh, your container plantings are beautiful! Your sedum is such a pretty color. Don't you just love that plant?! Happy GBBD!

Remarkable. I especially like the browallia (spelling??). Searching for blues for next year - must add that one to my list.

Your potted plants are just gorgeous! The containers you selected are just right for those impatiens. (At least I think they are impatiens.) And gorgeous sedum too!

To all who commented on the sedum, yes they are nice. I got the original plants from a friend several years ago and have found that it's easy to take transplants off them so have slowly been spreading their joy around the garden. The deer nibble on them occasionally just as they are setting blooms which sometimes makes for interesting blossoms.

Dorothy - those containers came for Home Goods. Do you have one near you? They are new this season and perfect for the impatiens. The bunnies ate the impatiens planted in the ground so into the pots went the rest and they thrived. I won't bother next year to even put any in the ground.
