Harvest Monday Plus

Spinach being washed. It was lightly sauteed with garlic leaves (not pictured) in olive oil on Tuesday.

Lettuce for sandwiches on Wednesday and Thursday.

Spinach, and three kinds of lettuce with two scallions for salad on Saturday.

I've been using chives. I tossed some in with my tuna/egg salad.

Now here's the plus - some of whats blooming in the perennial garden.

Check out other harvests at Daphne's Dandelions.

I can't wait until my little scallions grow up enough to eat. They look so good.

It looks like you have been having some nice harvests for daily use. Your flowers are about week ahead of us.

Marcia, those greens are sure looking good. I just finished turning my onion box today and fertilizing it. My onion plants aren't ready to go in yet and I haven't bought any onion sets for scallions.
