Flowers in the Greek Islands

Spring was a good time to travel to Greece - no crowds, low temperatures and flowers in bloom.
The background settings were perfect for the flowers.

What flowers did you recognize?

Thanks for the heads up about Spring being a good time to visit Greece as it remains on our "to see someday" travel list. I recognized popies, and what looked like buttercups, azalea, dandelions?, and the white one is familiar but I could not recall its name.

A beautiful variety of flowers with a very cute cat photo :) Ever since I watched a movie on Mikonos with Haley Mills back in the day, I have always wanted to visit the Greek Islands. Haven’t made it yet. Loving your adventures Marcia.

Some of those are in fact genuine rock gardens. Pretty cool.

...I know the red Bougainvillea and the next one that looks like redbud.

I love all the rocky areas. So many nooks and crannies with secrets to be revealed.

About halfway through enjoying these, I realized they speak Greek, not English! But then I realized how silly that was, since beauty knows no language barriers!
