My Advent Calendar

December 19th

An ornament purchased in a butcher shop in Meiringen, Switzerland in 2024.

****

A rainy windy day here today.  At times the wind sounds like a train coming into station.  Temperatures are above freezing and the snow is melting. Wondering if we will have a white Christmas after all.

...here, tree companies received a Christmas gift because of the wind.

We're also due for high winds today. I'll be ok, since temps are at least in the 40s. No snow for Christmas this year!

We’ve had wind and rain, but the cold is coming back soon.

The very same here in the lakes region. I fear the drop in temperature.

It's very cold here too and it's summer! I think. I'm enjoying your Advent Calendar, that heart is lovely.

That is a beautiful heart ornament and a nice memory from your time in Switzerland. It got up to 50 degrees today, rained hard last night but it cleared up towards the end of the day. Have a great weekend!

What a pretty heart! My tree has lots of hearts--mostly homemade--but none as beautiful as yours.

In a butcher shop? How surprising! It's lovely.
We had those high winds too. Lots of downed trees, damage, and electric outages. We escaped all that, just branches on the deck and in the yard .
