An Interesting Landmark

We traveled to Newport, NH for the Apple Pie Fair and yes we did have apple pie!

This monument caught our attention.

This critter was wandering around.  It's a llama.

We ate tacos from a food truck and then enjoyed the pie.  Lots of crafters but nothing that we had to buy.  We departed as the skies got dark with a threat of rain to come.

A great monument to a woman we would have all liked to meet.

Five Presidents over 17 years — this was a determined lady! What’s with that llama’s haircut? Sort of a poodle effect. Haha.

The llama looks like a jigsaw of several different animals. Linda in Kansas

That Sarah Josepha Hale monument is cool! I had no idea she had done so many things. The fair looks like lots of fun. I hope you have a great week!
