Book Recommendation

Actually an author recommendation: Raynor Winn.

Her first book, a memoir, is The Salt Path.  It's followed by The Wild Silence and the newest one is Landlines. [Not published yet in US but someone local purchased it in UK earlier this year and donated it to our library.]

I've read them all and find them incredibly engrossing, touching, and prescient.

Start with The Salt Path to understand what led her and her husband to walk the South West Coast Path in England.

OOoh, goodie goodie. The name rings a bell, but I don't know that I've read either of the earlier books. But I want to!!

...the cover of Landlines looks inviting.

I loved The Salt Path--shall have to look for these other two.

It's always good to read posts where fellow bloggers suggest a read that has been enjoyed. I have such a long list currently and now it may get evn longer!

I’ve heard the good reputation about The Salt Path. The words in #3 image reminded me of the essence in “The Narrow Road to the Deep North” featuring his nature haiku poems by MATUO Basho; the passing days and moths are eternal travelers in time and life itself is a journey connecting past to present. Keep up good reading.
