Scenes from Sodus Point, NY

The house we rented and our view of Sodus Bay below.

It was a very walkable town.

Family Photo.

Next year's vacation in at Schroon Lake in the Adirondacks. Already booked after much searching.

you will LOVE LOVE LOVE Schroon Lake (depending on WHERE you stay I mean). Schroon Lake Village is charming.....so many amazing shops and you HAVE to get a cup of the Nine Mile coffee!! It's awesome.

The village also has a FREE town park/beach (parking is FREE)....a large shady grassy area, huge pavillion at top of hill and the beach! with a playground for your young grands.
so many good hiking trails in that area of the ADKS as well. Kayaking on the Schroon Lake is dicey...LOTS of big motor boats and jet skies so i just hug the shoreline. You are going to LOVE it.

I have MANY pics on my blog of Schroon Lake adventures.

It looks like a good spot with both town and recreational amenities.

Great family holiday, very pretty area.
That house with the lighthouse tower (or is it a lighthouse?) is quite nice.
