Outdoor Winter Decor

As I said in earlier posts we returned from our Thanksgiving week away to snow on the ground, trees, roof, everything.  It was cold and continues to be below freezing during the day. The snow on the roof makes for interesting outdoor decor.

Looking out the kitchen window it looks like there's a new awning.

Nope!  Sheets of snow sliding off the metal roof.

And looking the out the other direction not lighted icicles hanging there but the real thing.

It all looks very pretty but it's probably best to be inside looking out!

Much rain here lately, so no snow.

Pretty wreath. I love the candy cane bow and your barn looks lovely in the fresh snow. I’m not in a Christmas mood yet as we are having some 70+ degree days and the fall colors are still quite predominant. It’s just not the same in a warm climate, but I will get there!

Yikes! Getting serious up there. I love how the wreath looks against the yellow. Great choice!

The winter is there! We got only one snowfall this year so far. It is all gone after the rain though.

Really beautiful! But come on, you just GOTTA tap your ceiling with a broom handle and watch the snow awning slide down some more. Linda in Kansas

We were snow free until today. Now it's snowing like crazy. It sure is pretty.
