Packing Begins

So we must start our packing to move to our new home.  It becomes ours on December 4th.  We are mostly moving ourselves which means lots of trips back and forth.  We will be packing, then moving the boxes and stuff to the car then unpacking the car, then unpacking the boxes and putting away as much as we can so we can fill the box a second time or third or fourth.  Fortunately we saved a lot of the nice sized boxes from our move here in July.  We retrieved them from daughter's attic so we could start the process.

The heavy furniture will be moved on December 14th.   Then we will come back to take the pictures off the walls, clean and vacuum, and relinquish our keys and garage opener.

With that said I'm taking a hiatus.  I'll be back before Christmas.

I'll leave you with these funny church signs shared with me by my friend, Marilyn.

Oh, I'll miss you here as you tote, pack, tote, unpack, tote...and look forward to what the next adventure in your lives may bring. Thanks for the chuckle today!

Hope your move goes very smoothly! Be careful of your backs as you pack, bend, tote and organize. It will be wonderful to settle in to your new place.

I didn’t realize you had to move again. I bet it’s no fun so soon after the last move. Hope it all goes well and you are settled in by Christmas time.

Best wishes on the self move, Marcia, and we well know the process as we moved ourselves from VA to NH but not sure we would do that again. Your closing date is the same day as out grandson’s 14th birthday. Looking forward to reading about your new place once you have settled in, which is nice that you will be there before Christmas.
