Gorgeous iris! It is one of my favorite flowers Our iris did not do well over the winter, though the purple and white bloomed this year. As for my farm post, the grain was cut green with the seeds (looked like wheat to me) still intact, so it also qualifies as hay. I have seen these round bales in feed lots around Frederick with the cows munching away.

I only have blue iris...that is up until I saw the yellow. Off to the nursery ;D

Beautiful! The dark purple iris you gave me bloomed so prettily for me - it's such a gorgeous color. I just love that big pop of color in the spring that irises bring.

I have got to learn how to make my Iris more healthy. Mine will not bloom so beautifully. I am not nourishing them successfully...
