Who Are These Visitors?
I know it says welcome at my front door but ...
I'm not sure I would open the door to these two visitors.
Marcia, I think it's a Wheel Bug. Look here: http://www.whatsthatbug.com/2010/10/31/bug-of-the-month-november-2010-wheel-bug/ Very interesting. I don't think I've ever seen one here.
Yipes….. Even with a pretty name like "Wheel Bug"---I wouldn't welcome these critters either…. Glad you found out what they are!!!!
We had some visits last week from a ton of Lady Bugs…. The newscasters on TV were talking about them coming out after a cold spell (which had then turned warm)… Seems as if the Lady Bugs were EVERYWHERE for a day or two. Glad they moved on!!!!

Thanks for the id Holley. I've bookmarked that site for future reference.

We experienced that in China in 2010 when we went into the countryside with our daughter for a picnic/hike. Ladybugs were everywhere.
