Welcome reader to my blog - a mixture of this and that. Now that we are living in a retirement community in downtown Columbia, MD my personal gardening activities are somewhat curtailed. I still enjoy visiting gardens, reading, watching wildlife on my walks, traveling, and occasional food commentary. Please leave a comment if you feel inspired to do so. I read every one of them.

Sedona

Just returned from a week in Arizona which included a trip to Sedona.  Here are some of the lovely sights there.

Beautiful photographs of a beautiful place. I love to see the desert in bloom.

I love that formation with the lone tree on the top. You've captured the red rocks and hoodoos well. I live in CO, but often visit AZ.

Great photos! I was there 10 years ago and I really want to go back. It's a beautiful place for sure.

So majestic! Very different scenery than what we're used to, but still full of such wonder and awe. Such mystery, too, about all those different layers, and how some formations are still standing while the rest of it is worn away.
