And here’s how the aloe bloom looks now.

Turkey
I had one container of sliced turkey in the freezer from Thanksgiving. This past weekend I thawed it and used half for a delicious soup we had on Saturday night and for lunch this week. The other half I used in a turkey pot pie that I made on Sunday. For once instead of a deep dish pie with crust on top, I made a two crust pie. Dan labeled it the best! We finished it off on Monday evening.
The slice didn’t come out in one piece but it was so good.
Speaking of turkey look at these visitors.
They don’t visit every day and when they come they don’t stay long.
My bird feeders are put away because of bears. We haven’t seen evidence of them but must be cautious. Lots of spilled seed that the turkeys, juncos and cardinals can still find.
Finally, not on the subject of turkey, I spied these lovelies in the greenhouse of Gardeners Supply.
I may have to return for some to plant in pots.
