Fall
Autumn usually referred to as Fall sure lives up to its nickname.
Some colorful leaves still outside my windows, but much more space to see through them too. Give it a couple more weeks and I'll just have branches too.
I remember one morning when I was living in Chicago and driving to work. The leaves from the trees along the street was falling all at once. My windshield kept getting piled up with leaves and blowing off with the wind. There was an article that came out in the newspaper about that weird phenomenon, but it never happened like that again. Your bare trees reminded me of that day. Looks like you had a very colorful fall.
The before and after photos were quite dramatic, Marcia. Last week, I spent a couple of days admiring the foliage around the area, but after torrential rains today and later in the week, the trees may look as bare as your own by the end of the week.

...your sugar maple has made a huge change!
They sure came off in a hurry! You really do have to enjoy them while they have color...oh and leaves!
What a pity the Autumn leaves don't last long. Bare trees aren't as pretty.
Have a lovely weekend Marcia.
It goes so quickly, which may be part of the reason that we appreciate it so much.
"Bare ruined choirs where late the sweet birds sang."
Uh-oh! It’s almost over for another year. Let the raking begin!
I think we love the colored leaves more because they are so quickly gone.
Have a wonderful weekend!

That is a good example of how quick it goes sadly

Quite a contrast. Take comfort in knowing that the leaves will return in the spring.
What a shame they fell so quickly.
