Here are the turkeys visiting us last Wednesday morning.
Notice all the snow.
Today the temperature is nearly 50.
Snow is melting rapidly.
Here’s how it looks in the front.
In the back the forsythia has a huge puddle around it along with sunflower hulls.
This bush is a favorite with chickadees.
The field is still full of snow.
But ground appearing in other parts of our yard.
This mass of snow in the north side of house will be the last to disappear.
But as we’ve learned more snow could fall in March and April.

...what A brood of turkeys, A crop of turkeys, A death row of turkeys, A dole of turkeys, A dule of turkeys and list goes on.
That's a heap of turkeys 😄 It looks like the thaw is on but it's still looking pretty at your place.
Always something on interest in your yard/garden.
Looks like we have about the same weather as you. We don’t have turkeys, though!
I don't think I have seen so many turkeys in one spot before. In fact, the only time I have ever seen wild turkeys is at a great distance and it was hard to tell. I enjoyed seeing all your photos.
Lots of turkeys!!
Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving a comment.
We lived in Savage and Columbia (right by Centennial Park) before moving to Garrett county in 2013. Husband worked at Ft Mead.
Love your blue plate collection!!
That's definitely a whole passel of turkeys! Well, you are feeding the birds, and they qualify!
We haven't see the turkeys here in a while. We still have lots of snow but lots of melting with the nicer days.
I would love to think there will be no more snow but it is March lots of surprises

How wonderful to have the turkeys right in your yard! We see them sometimes, but our dogs keep them at a distance.
It is so interesting to see what pops through the snow first.
