Harvest Monday

Spinach continued to produce enough to steam. However now its bolting so tonight will be the last harvest of spinach until I can plant it again in the fall. I need the space anyway.

Green onions and lettuce for sandwiches. I know I had it for a salad too, but no photo.

See other harvest posts at Daphne's Dandelions the hostess of Harvest Mondays.

You can see my garden update here.

Love those scallions. Isn't it great to thin them out and call them a harvest.

We have not eaten spinach since last year. Looking at your spinach wish that our seedlings will grow much faster.

Spinach is all bolting here too. I love having green onions fresh from the garden!

Fall will come around again and you'll be back to planting spinach again and looking forward to it in no time. :-) Harvest looks gret.

Too bad it is the last of the spinach. I think ours will go forever if we never get any warmth. OK I know it will bolt with day length any time now, but it sure is going longer this year than before. It has been a good greens spring for us. I can only hope we get some warmer weather or our warm weather crops need it about now.
