Winter Here

Scenes from a walk outside on Friday.

Turkey tracks.

Looking at the house and barn from the field.

The field.

The barn and tree shadows.

Turkeys visit the field every day now.

What a joy to have those turkeys visit daily. It won’t be long before the males are strutting their stuff to the females and that’s quite a sight. Don’t mess with one of them while his hormones are fuelled, however!

My brain is replaying, 'Turkey in the Straw.'

Wonderful shots of the snow-covered land, and the somewhat loveable ugly turkeys, not to mention really pretty house and barn.
