You Know it’s Spring When

Crocus are blooming,

When flower beds are in expanded and waiting for new perennials,

When there is the smell of freshly spread mulch,

When buds are forming,

When the grand dog comes to visit and the front door left open,

And when the deck furniture and grill are out of the barn.

60 degrees on this Monday after a snowy Saturday. Our new lawn guy had the mulch delivered on Friday and got it spread on Sunday.
Today I tackled the garden room in the barn trying to corral the fiberglass insulation the squirrel has pulled out of the walls upstairs from there in the ping pong room. There’s more work to be done to have it better organized for this growing season.

Oh goody, can't wait to see your flowers in that mulch! So like your grand-dog!

The plants emerging from the ground have energy and give me sense of peace and courage as we see a future. Here, landscape is rapidly greening up as Sakura is going to be over.

Isn't Spring a wonderful season. Suddenly everything is green and there is warmth in that sunshine.

Crocuses are proliferating here too, and finally we are stringing together a few good weather days. Today and tomorrow are forecast to be cold but beyond that warm temperatures are in the offing. Hooray!

Busy times! I was so sorry to read about your fall. You were right to go home and take care of yourself. That just sounded so painful.

It's nice to see that spring is showing up in some places in NH, Marcia, but not so much in nashua. The only crocus blooms I saw a week ago were not looking cheerful with recent cold temps.
