Dawning Thursday morning. I was up at 6. I like to think rising then will help me adjust to the time change coming on March 9.
I walked to the library that afternoon and you can see the piles of snow, the mud made by the gravel they coat our side streets with, and the puddles.
Snowmobiles have had a good time this February. You can see their tracks on the trail.
The north side of the house has the biggest mound of snow from the roof. Roof is all clear now.
Below the driveway turn around spot with its piles. The snow is very slushy and deep as I found out from filling the bird feeders.
I don’t think it will make much difference here in except for more light.

It truly puzzles me that a one hour time change befuddles so many people.
...we are having a mini spring thaw, unpaved roads mudding messes!
The land is not pretty at this time of year.
You certainly still have plenty of snow. I bet it is tricky to walk in. Your library is a pretty building.
Snow is pretty until it thaews :)
I've wondered what rural NH town you lived in and now I know thanks to your library photo. We come by every few years to visit Saint-Gaudens and scoot through a few covered bridges.
We have a lot of similar piles of very dirty and mushy snow in Nashua, NH. Walking to the library was a challenge earlier this week bdcause of ice and slush on walkways, it's improved now with lots of puddling.
You live in a pretty area! How nice to have a library within walking distance. Lots of snow in your part of the country. I expect you are looking forward to that thaw.
