Finally

Daffodils are finally showing their beauty here.

Monday this clump looked like it was set to bloom.

But nope.  Didn't happen until today, Saturday.

And it's only one of many waiting to bloom.  This clump predates our moving here.

The ones below are some I planted in Fall of 2022.  And they opened up today too.

Now hoping the forsythia will bloom.

They are beautiful whenever they bloom.

Oh I'm going to enjoy your spring blossoms as you share them here! We have almost finished our blooms, even azaleas are dropping their flowers. But the mountains may still have more to see. A cold front is coming through tomorrow with rain, so that may retard things a bit.

I find your weather'nature related posts fascinating. Your weather is much more extreme than here (Lincolnshire UK) so colder wonters and hotter summers. Our daffodils are pretty near the end of their flowering period now.

We're only slightly ahead of you, perhaps by a few days. They've been blooming all over for several days now.

Daffodils, so bright and cheerful after the grey of winter.

Such a wonderful time when the first daffodils bloom! You know how much beauty is on the way.

Interesting that the daffodils have bloomed and not the forsythia when usually it seems they both are around with all that brilliant yellow at similar times. Here in nashua, NH, the forsythias are in bloom already as of a couple of weeks ago.
