Welcome reader to my blog - a mixture of this and that. Now that we are living in a retirement community in downtown Columbia, MD my personal gardening activities are somewhat curtailed. I still enjoy visiting gardens, reading, watching wildlife on my walks, traveling, and occasional food commentary. Please leave a comment if you feel inspired to do so. I read every one of them.

Casselman or Castleman River Bridge

Searching through the archives to share some photos.  I took these on our return home last spring from our Roads Scholar trip to Missouri.  This park in is Western Maryland.

As I sort through stuff and prepare this house for sale I know an end product of our move will be more time to just pick up and go and see what sights await us.

Don't know which one is the correct spelling of this river and park.

That is a sturdy looking bridge - with some history as well.

It's a wonderful bridge with a great history! What a lovely sight too seeing the redbud. Must have been an interesting trip. Good luck with your upcoming move!

Wow - just think once the big move is done, you'll have lots of opportunities for 'wanderings'. That bridge - whatever it's name, is gorgeous.
