First Harvest

My first harvest of snow peas from my raised bed.

I haven’t had fresh snow peas since we moved from the Lodge in the summer of 2016. I’m not even sure if I planted them that spring since we were moving to the retirement home in Columbia, MD that June. So the last harvest would have been in 2015 - 10 years ago. Moving to NH was not even on the radar for us in either of those years.

...good for you, I have nothing to harvest from my meager vegetable garden.

Yum! And all the better for being homegrown!

This is wonderful! I haven't had snow peas in such a long time.

They look wonderful. We use them in stir fries quite often.
