My first harvest of snow peas from my raised bed.
I haven’t had fresh snow peas since we moved from the Lodge in the summer of 2016. I’m not even sure if I planted them that spring since we were moving to the retirement home in Columbia, MD that June. So the last harvest would have been in 2015 - 10 years ago. Moving to NH was not even on the radar for us in either of those years.
Good for you.
ReplyDelete...good for you, I have nothing to harvest from my meager vegetable garden.
ReplyDeleteYum! And all the better for being homegrown!
ReplyDeleteThis is wonderful! I haven't had snow peas in such a long time.
ReplyDeleteThey look wonderful. We use them in stir fries quite often.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your first harvest. They look wonderful!
ReplyDeleteThey look really good. Congratulations on this harvest!
ReplyDeleteI don't even think I had thought about snow peas in that many years and I do love them in a stir-fry
ReplyDeleteCathy
Just had some store bought ones yesterday afternoon and how wonderful that you can enjoy them from your garden.
ReplyDeleteHow cool that you moved OUT of a retirement home! What was the Lodge?
