Color Spots

Three photos each with a different color for the focus.

Did you notice much difference?

Here are some other color spots in the garden for early June.

Some disappoints this year - several iris failed to bloom, one being the white one Vicki Lane sent me some years ago.  The shasta daisies have invaded that iris so I need to dig it up and separate out the iris from the daisy.  Not sure what happened with the others.  Another disappointment is the very few buds on very large peonies.

Open to suggestions on both of these problems.

Wonderful closeups! Sorry about the white iris-- it sounds like you have a plan.

Your gardens are a joy to behold, Marcia! So much color.
I can't be much help with your questions, I'm afraid. I do have a couple peonies that are quite large but never have many blooms. I am pretty sure their location is too shady.

I did notice the difference. Very clever.

Yes, I also noticed the slight differences, Marcia, and enjoyed seeing the colorful iris blooms, but don’t have helpful gardening advice.

Such beautiful flowers. My favorite shot is the one with the porch floor setting off the iris in contrast of not only color but textures too.

The same colour and flower was dominant to me in each photo, but I can see that you changed the actual focal point.
