My Advent Calendar

December 14th

This was likely a teacher gift to me.  I don't recall much more than that.  Over the years its glasses have become askew.  I've never really checked to see if it really is a light bulb under that decoration.

****

Light snow here this morning. Dan says there is rain in our forecast for this week.

The askew glasses make it whimsical.

It’s just right the way it is - brining the light these days is definitely askew!

...it's cold and snow today, but a warm up is in the forecast.

That's a clever use of a lightbulb, very inventive. We had a light dusting here in my part of Virginia too. It's 24 degrees Fahrenheit here.

A fun use for an old light bulb!

That's cute!
Rain will make a mess of things.

Clever idea for a Christmas ornament. As I decorated my tree this year I was sad that I couldn't remember where all the ornaments were from.

It is quite charming with its off kilter eyeglasses. A little too much Christmas punch, perhaps.
