We got over 12 inches of snow on Wednesday night. As I write this Friday morning (because we lost power for most of the day Thursday) the snow is still plastered to the trees, branches are weighted down, and piles of snow look unchanged. We've had no wind since it fell though during the height of the storm there was wind and lightning and thunder. They called it thunder snow and that's why we got so much in such short a time.
