Tuesday Morning

Frosty mornings here since Sunday.
Yesterday the juncoes arrived. They weren't here on Sunday, but Monday morning they were all over the yard and especially under the bird feeders I hung on Sunday.

Occasionally I'll see a junco try to land on the feeder, but it's never successful. Does anyone know of a feeder type that a junco could use?

Fall colors are the best in years an article in the newspaper said yesterday.

Two weeks to Election Day!  No early voting here in NH unless you have a reason for not voting on the 3rd.  I hope all of you with early voting option have voted or have a plan to vote.

I had never heard of a junco - but I've looked now.

I've seen juncos around feeders, but when I looked them up, it said they are ground feeders. No help for you there~!

Turned our absentee ballots yesterday at our local library. VOTE if you haven't yet!

Hugs!

We get munchies arriving in Fall but they always feed on the ground, never seen one interested in the feeders, just on what's underneath them. Ours haven't arrived yet, sure sign of oncoming winter. It's usually November when they start to arrive.

I wrote juncoes, not munchies! The munchies are always with us.

That is quite a wonderful hillside you have there.

Already voted. I LOVE early voting--almost never any lines.

We will vote and are hoping for a blue wave.

Glad to hear the juncos have arrived. I have yet to see one here, but I know that others already have.
