Cloud Formations

Driving home from our trip to the DC area to deliver a granddaughter and a cat to their new home, we went through some tremendous thunderstorms on the NJ Turnpike.  Later in the day as we got closer to home we spotted these thunderheads lit by the setting sun.

The first one looks like a hand.

A dog following a child?

We returned on Thursday evening and have been recovering since from our two week grandparent duties here and then driving south on Tuesday. I hope to be back blogging again more regularly and reading your blogs.

I had to look up the meaning of “pareidolia” (see AnvilCloud above). Given his moniker perhaps he is blessed with it. Now I have to find a way to use this new word, and I will seem so esoteric! Relax and rest up. See you soon on the blogs.

Good views of pretty clouds. Glad your trip was uneventful except seeing the images here! Yes, rest up and we'll see you in the funnies (now blogs!)

You deserve a rest after grandchildren duties, Marcia. When you had those thunderstorms you were traveling through our home state. We heard that the rain we missed caused many power outages there.

...I'm not sure that I see a dog following a child, but the sky is gorgeous.
