Isn't this a lovely flower? I noticed it growing in the lawn but had to mow it off. When I spotted the same leaves in the front garden bed, I let them grow. It sent up this long flower stalk and produced this flower. It's a Hawk Eye I think. Mostly grows as a yellow flower.

Fresh snow peas and sugar snap peas from my garden. There are many more. I tried to only pick the large ones so there will be more harvests. Have company coming for lunch on Tuesday so I think I will save these for then.

Dog sitting this weekend. This is Maple. She's a mix of toy poodle and King Charles spaniel. I think I got that right. I also have rabbit and chicken duty too.

Hi Marcia, I think you have the breed mix right on Maple. She is beautiful! Your photos are lovely. Your blog header is stunning!
I worked in a pet supply store from 1987 to 1996. I am now retired (69), living in Montreal, Canada.
We did not sell animals, just the supplies, but I am pretty good with animal breeds. Flowers and plants, however, not good at all in naming them. LOL!
Thank you so much for sharing, and warm greetings to you.
Talk about puppy dog eyes.
The dog looks adorable.
What a nice flower, and the pup does look sweet. Enjoy your peas with friends. It's so great to grow one's own food!
Maple is adorable. I love snow peas and that flower is really pretty.
Adorable is the right word for Maple!
...I like your orange hawk weed, this spring I bought a yellow one with variegated foliage.
Great blooms and a dog with a face to melt your heart.
Your orange flower looks like someone cut the tip ends of the petals off. I've never seen such a flower. Maybe the puppy will help with your other chores. Linda in Kansas
I am so glad you found one of those flowers in your flowerbed. I am known for making Larry go around wildflowers in our grass!
I had to laugh about your grandma duties this weekend! We are the ones who ask others to do that for us!
