Readers, Welcome to my blog (formerly Birds, Blooms, Books, etc). I'm entering a new decade taking on the challenge of moving from Maryland after living there 46 years and learning about my new home here in New England in the Live Free or Die state - New Hampshire. Join me as a write this new chapter of my life.
Oh gosh! I feel your pain! When I had mine out in May, they said I could eat a normal diet. WRONG. It HAS to be extremely low fat the first month or so. I mean, as non-fat as you can make it. Diarrhea can be a real issue for a while. And you have to let that run it's course, at least for the first 2 months. After that, if it's still a strong issue, there are meds, but they want to give the body the chance to adjust on it's own to no gall bladder. Now, I can eat mostly anything. But the first 2 months or so was a real struggle. Good luck!
