Just in from the garden. I have an overflowing basket of mostly green stuff.
My grandmother would be proud. Her photo overlooks my counter to keep an eye on me and my cooking.
Cucumbers including some monster lengths. Must make refrigerator pickles.
Zucchini just the right size.
The last of the green beans. Plants have been pulled.
And a basket of tomatoes. Still awaiting the largest ones to ripen.

Nothing better than fresh produce, home grown!
We are always a little behind everyone in growing, here in northern MN.. but the garden is coming along nicely - we pulled our first carrots for dinner last night!
Yum!
Lots of goodies there! I love fresh veggies. Have a happy week!
Looks good!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
there is nothing like beautiful fresh bounty picked from the garden - I look forward to seeing the results of your preserving and keeping up your grandmother's traditions.
Have a wonderful week. I am linking up to you through Our World Tuesday.
Yay! Great harvest. But even more awesomer (I know, not a real word, ha) is that picture of your Grandmother. How cool is that?
Beautiful "greens" and tomatoes! I'd love to have all those beans.
My green beans are just starting and I ate my one red tomato. I love the photo of your mother. Just grand.
Wonderful bounty of food to eat. You have had a great harvest. Well done.
the yield from a garden is such a joy. Yours looks like some mighty good eating.
What a great idea to put your grandmother's photo in your kitchen!
Wonderful harvest you have there!
Looks like my garden, except my cucumbers are not doing well.
I picked green beans and tomatoes this morning. I have Kentucky Wonder Pole Beans - they just keep on flowering and making more beans!
Happy Gardening!

It's my grandmother. Here's a photo of my mom http://birdsbloomsbooksetc.blogspot.com/2013/07/enjoying-beans.html
My mother had this photo in every kitchen that I can remember. When she moved to assisted living this spring she had to downsize considerably so many of her possessions were distributed amongst the family. This photo of my maternal grandmother was one of several things I had spoken for.
see my comment below about how I got it.
