Beans picked on Friday, in the sauce pan ready to steam. Again just enough for two servings.
Gleanings from Wednesday some of which was used in a stir fry.
Tuesday's harvests. We enjoyed the eggplant this year.
All the basil from the garden which I froze. See earlier post.

Freezing basil, what a great idea. I am hoping my potted basil lives on in the house this winter, but if it looks like it is dying I think I will try you idea of freezing it.

Pretty harvest. I freeze basil much like you. But I spread mine on a cookie sheet. Then I break it up and put it in freezer bags.
Very nice harvests. I don't preserve any basil for the winter, I rely on hardy herbs that a grow here in the winter and enjoy the basil when I can pick it fresh.
Looks like you're getting enough garden goodies for some great stir fry! I only freeze basil in pesto cube form. I'm planning on rooting some basil cuttings to grow new plants to grow indoors over winter, so hopefully I'll have a supply of fresh basil during cold weather.
Nice harvest! I have been freezing my basil as individual leaves, but I might try your method if I get more than I know what to do with.
What types are beans are you harvesting? They look much... flatter, I guess, than the types I am growing.
