Spinach continued to produce enough to steam. However now its bolting so tonight will be the last harvest of spinach until I can plant it again in the fall. I need the space anyway.
Green onions and lettuce for sandwiches. I know I had it for a salad too, but no photo.

Too bad it is the last of the spinach. I think ours will go forever if we never get any warmth. OK I know it will bolt with day length any time now, but it sure is going longer this year than before. It has been a good greens spring for us. I can only hope we get some warmer weather or our warm weather crops need it about now.
Love those scallions. Isn't it great to thin them out and call them a harvest.
ReplyDeleteWe have not eaten spinach since last year. Looking at your spinach wish that our seedlings will grow much faster.
ReplyDeleteSpinach is all bolting here too. I love having green onions fresh from the garden!
ReplyDeleteFall will come around again and you'll be back to planting spinach again and looking forward to it in no time. :-) Harvest looks gret.
ReplyDeleteLove the spinach!
